Trying a new class and not sure what to wear?  Here you go:

•Capoeira Program: sweat pants and a t-shirt are appropriate for your first week. Don't wear shorts! Grab a pair of sandals or flip-flops because you will be taking your shoes off!

Jiu Jitsu Program: A pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt. Don't wear jeans as they might rip. Also, bring shoes that are easy to slip on and off, as shoes aren't allowed on the mats.

Am I too old or out of shape for your classes?

Not at all.  Anyone can take our classes,* and the best way to get in shape or lose weight is to start today!  Our courses are built for students at a variety of levels, and we do our best to encourage techniques to avoid injury.  We welcome students of all shapes, sizes, and abilities to train hard and better themselves every class.

*It’s recommended you check with your health-care provider before taking any class if you have not exercised regularly recently, and come in and talk to an Instructor and watch part of a class if you have other questions or concerns.

what is the cost of classes?

The price of your tuition will depend on which course you qualify to enter. After your Trial Week, our Advisors will help you determine which course is best for you!

Do I have to compete?

No! We understand that everyone has different goals in their Jiu Jitsu journey. If you want to compete, we have the Professors and skills to coach and prepare you for competing. However, if you do not want to, we will not require you to attend competitions. All we ask is that you support your teammates by continuing to show up to class and maintaining a positive attitude!

What's the difference between a program and a course?

Programs are our different martial arts. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Capoeira, and Muay Thai are our Programs. Our Courses are the different levels for each Program. Learners Mindset, BulletProof, and Shark Tank are our different Courses.

We also have a Kids Jiu Jitsu Program, with three courses, Little Ninjas (ages 4-6) BJJ Warriors (ages 7-12) , and Teens Jiu Jitsu (ages 12-16)

We also have a Kids Capoeira Course, for ages 4-8.

What's the difference between a Jiu Jitsu Professor and Instructor?

Professor is a rank that is achieved after obtaining your black belt in Jiu Jitsu. Anyone with the Professor Bar on their black belt as earned the title 'Professor'. Anyone teaching who has not yet obtained the Professor Bar is a Jiu Jitsu Instructor.
